email settings in OUTLOOK 2007 software

These instructions refer to setting up an email account named user under the domain domain.co.il. Replace domain.co.il with your domain name. Please note: If this is the first time Outlook has been launched, start directly from step 2.


Under the Tools menu, open Account Settings. 1
Under the Email tab, click "New." 2
Select the "Manually configure server settings" option. 3
Select the first option - "Webmail". 4
In the name field, enter your name or company name. What is written here is what people who receive mail from you will see. In the mail address line, enter your full mail address. The account type is POP3. In the server details, the addresses of both mail servers are mail.domain.co.il. Replace domain.co.il with your domain name. In the username field, enter your full email address. In the password field, enter the password you set when you opened the mailbox in the management interface. Now click on the Additional Settings button. 5
In the Outgoing Server tab, select the option "My outgoing server requires authentication." 6
Click OK, Next, and Finish. 7
Your email account is now set up and ready to use. 8
